Reading List
I love reading books, and I often find new reading material from other people's reading lists, so here's mine.
In Progress
Leonardo Davinci
Walter Isaacson
History
Great fundamental thesis, easy to get through in a day. Touches on a lot of common mistakes for user interviews worth knowing about.
I can already tell that mimetic theory is probably something that will come to mind frequently in the future as I explore the world. I can see why many have become enamored with Girard’s ideas, and I look forward to reading more of his books.
I was hoping that, of all people, Chris Dixon would be the best to convince me of the importance of blockchain as a technology. I must say I’m still left pretty skeptical. Maybe it’s because I dislike being online, and so I have difficulty finding any enthusiasm for improving the online experience. Solid book that has changed the way I view how I should react to others actions.

This book provided one of the best shifts in my thinking when it comes to designing and building products.
My main take away was Jacobs’ emphasis on the importance of other people for what he’s accomplished. Hearing it from someone so successful was invaluable to me. The only reason I rated it lower was that I felt like I could have gotten this lesson in fewer pages. Otherwise, great book.
